Information for UniBrass Participants
UniBrass 2021 has been postponed to Summer 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and will be hosted by the University of Sheffield.
The postponed entertainment contest will take place outdoors on Saturday 26th June on the Sheffield Students’ Union Concourse. The contest will take a hybrid format, allowing bands to choose to compete either the in-person or the virtual section. This allows for maximum participation following COVID restrictions.
Nine Bands have registered to perform in person, and two bands have registered to provide a virtual performance. The draw for in-person bands on the day is as follows, provisional timings for the day have been sent to bands:
Bands competing in the virtual section will pre-record their performance live, which will be independently verified. Their performances will be integrated into the day as a special part of the hybrid contest.

The event is being planned to have COVID safe measures. COVID rules will be communicated to bands before the event.
The adjudicators for the contest will be announced soon.
The Sheffield Students’ Union building is situated just off the A57, on Western Bank (S10 2TG).
There is car parking nearby at Q-Park Durham Road (S10 2JA) and the area is very accessible via bus (120, 51, 52, 52A) and tram (Yellow line - University Tram Stop).
Coach parking locations will be advised nearer the time.

How to get involved
Registration for UniBrass 2021 has now closed. Registration for UniBrass opens in September, and the registration forms will be circulated via social media, and by email to existing UniBrass competitors.
