UniBrass 2022

The 2022 Contest was hosted by the University of Sheffield and was held on Saturday 5th February at the Octagon Centre and the Drama Studio. 


Total scores were calculated taking time penalties into account. In the event of a tie, musicality points were taken over entertainment points.

The Trophy section was adjudicated by Andrea Price and Chris King and was won by The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Bands with * next to points denotes where musicality points took precedent over entertainment points.   

Conductors marked with * were student conductors

The University of Bristol were deducted 2 points as a time penalty.

Other prizes were awarded by the adjudicators as follows

The Shield section was adjudicated by Jayne Murrill and Jack Capstaffand was won by the University of Leeds.
