We are absolutely thrilled to announce that UniBrass is coming to Cardiff for the first time, and we could not be more excited to welcome this prestigious event to the heart of Wales! Known for its lively spirit and deep musical heritage, Cardiff is the perfect backdrop for the UK’s premier university brass band competition, which brings together bands from across the country to showcase their talent, creativity, and passion. UniBrass 2025 will see students from over 20 universities push the boundaries of brass performance with thrilling renditions of classical favourites and daring new compositions as they compete for the UniBrass Trophy and Shield. Your contest ticket will get you into both sections which run concurrently in the Great Hall of Cardiff University Students' Union (Park Pl, Cardiff CF10 3QN) and the Cardiff University School of Music Concert Hall (Corbett Rd, Cardiff CF10 3EB), respectively.

UniBrass 2025 will conclude with a Gala Concert from the incredible Llareggub Brass Band. Known for their unique fusion of traditional brass music with contemporary styles, Llareggub Brass Band is sure to deliver an unforgettable performance that will have the audience on their feet. From their creative arrangements to their vibrant energy, they bring a fresh and exciting twist to the brass band world. Llareggub Brass Band is set to make this Gala Concert a highlight of the UniBrass weekend offering the perfect mix of musical artistry and entertainment.
